The Venue
The International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham, England, is a top-tier conference venue owned and operated by the NEC Group. Adjacent to Centenary Square, it integrates Symphony Hall and overlooks Birmingham's picturesque canals. Located near the lively Westside area and Brindleyplace, the ICC is in close proximity to the NEC Group-managed Arena Birmingham to the west.
Our strategically located venue, coupled with unparalleled transport connectivity, ensures that your journey to the ICC is efficient and comfortable. Situated within a 4-hour drive time for 90% of the UK, our central location provides the flexibility for visitors to choose between traveling home post-event or staying overnight in Birmingham for added convenience.
If you’re driving to the ICC, you’ll have no problems finding us as Birmingham is at the heart of the UK’s motorway networks, close to the M6, M5 and M42. And when you get here, you’ll find parking’s a walk in the park thanks to the thousands of spaces near to our venue. Our closest spaces are at our sister venue Utilita Arena Birmingham (King Edward’s Road, B1 2AA). Mobile payments can be made upon arrival at the Arena car park via ParkJockey, quoting location code 5020.
Visitors arriving by car will need to be aware of Birmingham's Clean Air Zone. The ICC and associated visitor car parks are located within this area. We are located close to three train stations, all in the city centre. These are all within walking distance to the ICC. New Street Station is the shortest walk at 14 minutes
Embark on a picturesque journey from the city center to the ICC, taking in notable landmarks such as the impressive Library of Birmingham. Starting from New Street, proceed to Victoria Square, following the signs leading to Centenary Square, the ICC, and Utilita Arena Birmingham. As you enter Centenary Square, walk directly towards the ICC, enjoying the view of the stunning Library of Birmingham and Rep Theatre on your right.
For those arriving by air, Birmingham Airport presents a seamless travel experience. As the sole UK airport with a terminal-connected train station, a swift ten-minute train journey effortlessly transports you to Birmingham New Street. Alternatively, a readily available taxi rank awaits just outside the airport for your convenience.
