Isabella is working on a European funded project combatting antimicrobial resistance in drain biofilms at Cardiff University. Isabella completed a BSc in Marine Biology at Newcastle University in 2017, a Master of Research in Biosciences in 2018 and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Microbiology in 2022 at Cardiff University. Her PhD investigated the resistance of dry surface biofilms to cleaning and disinfection. Isabella has published six papers and presented her work at multiple infection control conferences.
