Prof. ELISABETTA CASELLI, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in Clinical Microbiology and Scientific Director of the CIAS research center at the University of Ferrara (Italy). She is also a member of the Ph.D. Collegium in Advanced therapies and experimental pharmacology. Her research topics include molecular microbiology, infectious diseases, immunology and autoimmunity, antimicrobial resistance, IPC strategies, and microbiome homeostasis. Her research activity has produced over 200 original papers and 4 chapters in scientific books.
